I Love B&B's!

I usually go to a nice B&B as a reward, after a particularly wonderful but tiring backpacking trip. Of course they are not as beautiful as some hotels, but they offer that personal

touch in terms of service. Of course, most of the B&B's a go to are in the more rural areas of a country. Like in Germany, I stayed at a few B&B's at the countrysides.

But in the cities like Berlin, I probably would prefer a Hostel. Of course, for longer stays, we rent a nice vacation apartment like the ones on this list here:

I hope this helps!

For smaller children its there neck stability you have to watch, putting them into there car seat then strapped it in really securely that made a big difference to stabilising there head. Though the 'basket' style car seats usually strap easily into trailers & offer good support.

As for manufacturers try Burley, Chariot, Trek, Bumber (& Halfords are doing a trailer).
Not going to be the cheapest of purchases though - look out on ebay for 2nd hand ones.

There is some commitment involved, but the payoff is totally worth it! The FAA requires a minimum of 40 hours of flight time to get a private pilot's license. There is also a written test but that really isn't a big deal. There are a lot of home study courses for that. Math? Please, I was a communications major in college and now I am a professional pilot! Most of the math is really simple.

If you have any other questions, check out my other site:

Always wondered about learning how to fly. Is it much a commitment? How any hours does it typically take? What kind of math is involved?

Linda,

What a great idea for a FITcation. I like it. I googled it and found this site:

http://www.presidentschallenge.org

This is where people can create an account, sign in and start earnings rewards for being fit.

Thanks for the great staycation idea. If you have any others, be sure to share them.

Hi Paul! I wanted to thank you for the ping :->> and also toss an idea out to your readers. Why not take on the Presidential Fitness Challenge for your FITcation this year? (hey, I LOVE that term!)

Do you fondly (uh...ok, not the exact word I used back then...but !) these fitness tests? Well, now us adults can take the presidential fitness test (one mile walk or 1.5 mile run, push ups and sit and reach test) and not only get scored (oh yeah, you can order some fun gear to acknowlege your FIT!) but your test results will show where you rank among people your same age. C'mon, it can be FUN!

Just a thought as I am testing out (my first adult presidential fitness award was in 1988!

Stay fit and healthy! Linda
